Yoga Philosophy

Gain spiritual insight into Yoga Philosophy with our roots and limbs of yoga retreat.

This 5 day retreat features the History of Yoga with an in-depth look at Yoga Philosophy and the 8 Limbs of Yoga along with historical walking tours in Rishikesh. During these retreats, you shall gain knowledge of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, in particular the Eightfold Path known often as the 8 Limbs of Yoga or Ashtanga Yoga. Each of the 8 Limbs will be examined carefully with a focus on experiential learning and application. The ‘roots’ and history of yoga is also taught that includes the history of Rishikesh as a place of spiritual learning and pilgrimage.
